Biography

Tzong-Yih Guo (M'92) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1977, the M.S. degree in power system engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 1979, and Ph.D. degree in power system engineering from Michigan State University, Ann Arbor, in 1992.,He joined Taiwan Power Company in 1982, where he was a Power System Specialist in the System Planning Department until November 1994. From 1994 to 2002, he was the Manager of the Electric Power Research Laboratory at the Power Research Institute. He was appointed Deputy Director of the System Planning Department in June 2002.
