This paper proposes a method for evaluating network systems based on delay-jitter analysis using generalized stochastic Petri nets (GSPN). Systems are modeled by GSPN and tagged client approach. The mean delay time and its variance for systems are calculated by using equations derived from a Markov chain of the GSPN model.
