Biography

Chamani Shiranthika (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.A.Sc. degree (Hons.) in information technology from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2018, and the M.A.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from National Taipei University, Taiwan, in 2021. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with Simon Fraser University, Canada. She is a Research Assistant with Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include computer vision, collaborative intelligence, image compression, and reinforcement learning. She was awarded the 2021 Falcon Reward for Character and Academic Excellence from the National Taipei University and the IEEE Taipei Section’s Best Master Thesis Award.(Based on document published on 4 December 2024).
