Biography

Zhenxin Hu (Member, IEEE) was born in Xuzhou, China, in 1988. He received the B.S. degree in detection, guidance, and control technology and the Ph.D. degree in electromagnetic field and microwave technology from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively.,He was a Research Assistance with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2012 to 2015. He served with Antenna Business Group, Huawei Technologies Company Ltd. from 2016 to 2018. He is currently with the School of Automation, Guangdong University of Technology. This paper describes a new positive sequence directional element for use in numerical distance relays.
