Biography
Erwin Dirks (M’05–SM’06) received the Diploma in engineering technology from the Red River College, Winnipeg, MB, Canada, in 1982.,He is currently a Senior Technologist with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Industrial Research Chair in Power Systems Simulation, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. He has made several significant contributions to the development of real-time digital simulators and advanced digital relays. He is the author or coauthor of 28 technical papers.
