Biography
Xiongwen Zhao (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) from the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Espoo, Finland, in 2002.,From 1992 to 1998, he was with the Laboratory of Communications System Engineering, China Research Institute of Radiowave Propagation, Qingdao, China, where he was the Director and a Senior Engineer. From 1999 to 2004, he was with the Radio Laboratory, TKK, as a Senior Researcher and the Project Manager in the areas of multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) channel modeling and measurements at 2, 5, and 60 GHz as well as UWB.
