Abstract:

The paper discusses artworks of Royal (Coronation) Robe (Casula) of St Stephen of Hungary concerning the picture of the “Godfather Saint” of the author-king Stephen, `Levita Stephanus' (Protomartyr) in the style of the Macedonian Renaissance representing noetic and pneumatic experiences renewing the traditional Christian interpretations. Here the main purpose of the fascinating Artifact is the explanation of the historical and structural background in the old Greek noetic and mystical Judaist pneumatic tradition for the Christian new kind of the Asterisk- disc eucharistic liturgy.
