Abstract:

Till now, much research has been done on the immediate impact of human resource on technological innovation, while neglecting the role of intermediary variables. The influence path of human resource on technological innovation is not clear yet. Therefore, it is very important that we study the influence path of human resource on enterprise technological innovation. The paper uses 176 samples derived from thirty-one enterprises in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces. With the structural equation model, the relationship between human resource and organization incentive, knowledge innovation and technological innovation in enterprises has been tested. The research demonstrates that human resource has a positive impact on technological innovation in enterprise through two paths: organization incentive and knowledge innovation. Organization incentive and knowledge innovation play a completely mediating role between human resource and technological innovation in enterprise.

I. Introduction

Technological innovation is the primary driving force during the enterprise development. It is also intrinsic factor of the enterprise survival. Technological innovation promotes technical progress and economic growth. But technological innovation can not do without personnel. Human resource is the key factor to technological innovation. Sollow, Romer and Lucas successively illustrated the intrinsic role of human resource in the economic growth model. Schuler emphasized that the cooperation awareness and the interdependence actions of staff can promote the implementation effectiveness of the innovation strategy. The value and role of human resource in the high-tech enterprise is increasing day by day. Human resource becomes the technological innovation pusher. Therefore, it is very important that we study the influence of human resource on enterprise technological innovation. There are lots of researches about the relationship of human resource and technological innovation that come from domestic and foreign scholars. But the researches mainly based on theoretical analysis, rarely has the positive investigation. The influence path of human resource on technological innovation is not clear yet. It is necessary to further explore the influence of human resource on technological innovation which derives from the direct path or through mediating variables.
