1. The Objective of ORIN
In 1998, the Japan Robot Association (JARA) started with 13 Japanese robot manufacturers the project named as ORiN (Open. Robot Interface for the Network)[1] for the standardization of the network interface. In 1999 and 2001. the ORiN project demonstrated its feasibility in the International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo based on the specification version 0.5 and 0.8 respectively.
