I. Introduction
Wearable sensor technology has gradually expanded its applicability to a wide range of well-known uses. Wearable sensors are often used for human activity detection and quantified self-assessment since they can assess and quantify the wearer’s physiology. It also can be used in a variety of applications to detect and quantify specific movements. Wearable devices have sensors integrated in them that collect the data for which they were designed. This information is subsequently sent to the integrated processor. The processor analyses the information and then sends commands or activates other sensors to collect further information or perform activities based on predetermined scenarios and processes.
