Biography
Mohammed El-Abd (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and M.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1998 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2008.,He is an Associate Professor of computer engineering with the Department of Engineering, American University of Kuwait, Salmiya, Kuwait, where he is currently an Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The aim is not only to improve the students’ attainment of knowledge in these courses but also to enhance their performance in subsequent courses including capstone design.
