Biography

Jing Yang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently an Associate Professor of electrical engineering with The Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include multi-armed bandits and reinforcement learning, federated learning, and wireless communications and networking. She received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2015 and the IEEE WICE Early Achievement Award in 2020. She was selected as one of the 2020 N2Women: Stars in Computer Networking and Communications. She served as the Symposium/Track/Worksho...
