Biography

Jian Dong received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 2004. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China.,Since 2005, he has been working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the HUST Microwave Center. His research interests include antenna arrays, microwave remote sensing, and numerical optimization techniques for electromagnetic problems.(Based on document published on 29 March 2010).

This paper presents a measurement method for partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) and repetitive PDIV (RPDIV) of motorette samples with different terminal connections from room temperature to 155°C PDIV and RPDIV characteristics of the motorlet sample up to the high-temperature region were clarified.
