Biography
Jun Kondoh (M’94) was born in Shiga, Japan, in 1967. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in opt-electrical and mechanical engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in applied electronic engineering from Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan, in 1990, 1992, and 1995, respectively.,From 1993 to 1997, he was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Tokyo, Japan. In 1996, he joined the Karlsruhe Research Center, Karlsruhe, Germany, as a Scientist. In 1997, he joined the Department of Systems Engineering, Shizuoka University, as a Research Associate and was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2003.
