Jacob Young (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA, in 2020, where he is currently pursuing the M.S. degree in electrical engineering.,His current research interests include pulsed power, dielectric breakdown, and flashover.(Based on document published on 19 May 2022).

Surface flashover in vacuum imposes a substantial physical limit on modern, large-scale pulsed power.
