Biography
Diego Fernando Carrera (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), Ecuador, in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in information technology management, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico, in 2020. His research interests include statistical signal processing and machine learning techniques for wireless communication systems, OFDM-based systems, channel estimation, symbol detection, 5G and beyond enabling technologies, massive MIMO systems, and mmWave communications.
