Biography

Teruhisa Kumano (M'1994) was born in Kanagawa, Japan, on Feb. 4, 1963. He graduated from the University of Tokyo in March 1985, and currently in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Meiji University. His employment includes Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, Energy System Research Center, University of Texas at Arlington. His major technical interest covers power system analysis, operation and control and transient analysis of large rotating machines.(Based on document published on 12 August 2008).

We propose an IBA scheme based on a pull-out detection, which is suitable for implementing in a circuit. The scheme is implemented in a driver IC that is part of a module with an RF MEMS variable capacitor.
