Biography

Phil Meier received the B.Eng. degree in information technology and the M.Eng. degree from the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Wolfenbüttel, Germany, in 2013 and 2016, respectively.,Since 2016, he has been an Engineer with the Electronic and Measurement Techniques Laboratory, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. His main research interests include sensor data processing, neuronal networks, and robotics.(Based on document published on 20 December 2023).

We investigate the potential of IT’-MoTe2 as a saturable absorber for silicon photonics devices. By optimizing the coupling coefficient between the 2D material and the wave-guide, we achieve a maximum coupling of 18%.
