Biography

Martin Mittendorff received the Diploma degree from the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Dresden, Dresden, Germany, in 2014.,Since 2014, he has been a Post-Doctoral Associate within the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. His current research interests include ultrafast spectroscopy of graphene and other 2-D materials, as well as the generation and detection of THz radiation.(Based on document published on 14 October 2015).

This paper presents a 38-GHz 32-element phased-array Tx (transmitter) for the 5G millimeter wave (MMW) communications.
