I. Introduction
This paper presents a highly integrated single-chip 77GHz FMCW radar, with built-in digital processing and 4TX-4RX mm-wave front-end, with emphasis on its high-performance radar processing and reconfigurability. The chip’s key high- performance hardware – for flexible waveform generation, high-throughput interference mitigation, FFT computation, data compression, and target detection, along with on-chip integration of front-end, DSP, MCUs, hardware security, and Ethernet interface – make this chip suitable for realizing state- of-the-art automotive radar systems and signal processing, such as what is summarized in [1].
