I. Introduction
Recently, the rapid growth of data-traffic in wireless communication networks leads to a large demand for spectrum resources [1]. As an extraordinary tool to improve the spectrum efficiency of wireless networks, cognitive radio technology is proposed to meet the growing spectrum demand through dynamic spectrum access [2], [3], and has been applied in the 5 G systems and the former generations [4], [5]. In a cognitive radio network (CRN), primary users (PUs) have priorities over secondary users (SUs) to access the licensed spectrum, while SUs should not bring excessive interference to PUs when accessing the spectrum. Therefore, SUs need to perform periodic spectrum sensing to detect the availability of the licensed spectrum.
