I. Introduction
Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) allows multiple data streams to be transmitted simultaneously using the same resources, e.g., the same frequency bands and/or the same time slots. It is regarded as one of the most promising candidates for boosting the overall capacity of the fifth-generation (5G) network and beyond [1], [2]. To significantly increase the performance of 802.11 networks, this paper proposes a new Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol for such networks with the power-domain NOMA.
