I. Introduction
With the fast development of more and all-electric aircraft, the integrated starter/generator (ISG) system with smaller volume and weight has received a great deal of attention [1], [2], [3], [4]; the traditional extra starter for engine cranking is eliminated, it simplifies the structure of the aircraft power system, and the system reliability could also be improved. Several ISG systems based on different electric machines have been studied in [5] and [11], among which the three-stage starter/generator (TSSG) is the most attractive candidate due to the properties of the mature structure, low maintenance cost, and high power density [12], [13], [14].
