I. INTRODUCTION
From the DWT powerful property point of view, many researchers [1] predict that DWT is a useful tool for calculating phasor. Unlike FFT, there is no strict relationship between frequency domain and time domain in DWT, what can be obtained from DWT is two sets of coefficients that present the details and approximations of the original signal respectively. It is difficult to obtain phasor directly by using those coefficients, this paper proposes a novel DWT algorithm to compute synchronized phasor.
