Abstract:
In order to avoid velocity ambiguity of linear frequency modulation (LFM) pulse Doppler (PD) radar, this paper adopts the high pulse repetition frequency (HPRF) working mode. Orthogonal LFM signals are used in multiple pulses and data rearrangement of echo signals of multiple transmitted pulses is performed, and then pulse compression and moving target detection (MTD) are used to obtain the peak value which can reflect the velocity and range information of target without ambiguity. To reduce the blind area of PD radar, small transmitting pulse time width is adopted. Simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
