I. Introduction
Accurate atmospheric data is a key parameter for aircraft in flight. Obviously, it is impossible for a pilot to fly a plane safely without knowing the airspeed and barometric altitude. In civil aviation, the small vertical distance difference between different routes designated by air traffic controllers is also based on accurately mastering the barometric altitude indication. Many systems, such as automatic flight control, engine control, cockpit and cabin environmental control, navigation and air traffic control, rely on accurate atmospheric data.
