I. INTRODUCTION
Currently, the involvement of electrical traction system, renewable energy sources (RES), charging stations of electrical vehicle (EV) and some other non-linear loads, the usage of flexible transmission system (FACTS) device as well as high-power industrial dc supply systems are significant to meet the society demand [1]-[2]. But on the other side of the coin, the fast-increasing application of non-linear burdens are inevitably bringing PQ problems in the PDS and interconnected network [3]-[4]. The fast-increasing application of non-linear burdens causes notable harmonics problem in the PDS. These results the thoughtful problems such as the increasing in line loss, fluctuations in torque of AC machine, and interference to communication systems etc. The strict requirement as imposed by IEEE -519-2017 grid code is to improve the source side PQ by providing the harmonic compensation as well as improved power factor using DSTATCOM.
