I. Introduction
Rotating component always plays supporting and power transmission roles in various modern industrial equipment such as wind turbine, helicopter, and mining machine. The rotating component (e.g., bearing or gear) is one of the critical components in mechanical systems, whose operating state greatly influences the performance of the entire system [1], [2]. However, faults will inevitably occur in these rotating components due to high load, high rotating speed, poor lubrication, and other harsh working conditions. These faults cause unstable and inefficient operation of the rotary machine, and may even cause catastrophic accidents. Consequently, fault diagnosis is introduced to identify faults timely, which is beneficial to enhance system reliability and reduce economic losses.
