I. Introduction
Industrial production generally accompanies with high-energy consumption and emission. With the shortage of primary energy, such as coal and petroleum, an efficient usage of byproduct energy plays a crucial role for energy conservation and emission reduction. To achieve optimal scheduling of byproduct energy system, the operators onsite need to be real-time aware of the variation trend of the energy media so that reasonable scheduling schemes can be formulated. A timely and accurate prediction for the generation and consumption flow of various energy medias (blast furnace gas (BFG), converter gas, etc.) would provide a reliable guidance for their rational usage [1].
