I. Introduction
Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) has numerous applications in geophysical and medical fields. EIT is applied to monitor the pulmonary as well as cardiac functions, measure the brain functions and gastric imaging, detect the hemorrhage, classify tumors in breast tissue and functional imaging of the thorax in medical field [1]. The lung function measurement was the earlier application in the EIT technique as lungs are large organs that allow large conductivity changes during normal functioning [2]–[4].
