Abstract:

With the development of science and technology and the progress of society, people put forward higher and higher requirements for the quality of products. As the key equipment to ensure the measurement and processing accuracy of workpiece, coordinate measuring machine and CNC machine tool, especially for the post-processing inspection of manufacturing parts, can play a key role in the inspection of spatial error. This paper provides a method to check the spatial error of CMM in measuring space. Using a standard device based on Renishaw inspection gauge to regularly check the spatial accuracy of CMM or CNC machine tool, the spatial error value within the length range of measuring rod centered on fixed point can be measured at one time.

I. Introduction

Coordinate measuring machine is the most representative coordinate measuring instrument in the current scientific community. In the coordinate measuring machine, the platform of the measuring instrument is used as the reference plane to establish the mechanical coordinate system. The coordinate values of the measured points on the surface of the measured workpiece are collected and projected into the spatial coordinate system to construct the spatial model of the workpiece. Coordinate measuring instruments are widely used in the field of measurement. All kinds of coordinate measuring instruments will be used no matter the size of small hardware or the geometric measurement of the whole machine and the whole vehicle.
