I. Introduction
Switched systems are hybrid dynamic systems consisting of several subsystems and a switching law specifying the active subsystems at each time instant. Such systems have been used in a wide variety of fields such as automotive industry, traffic control, and networked control systems. This topic has been extensively researched and a lot of progress has been made both theoretically and computationally. A wealth of important literature is available for the modeling and dynamic analyzing of switched systems including stability [1]–[3], controllability, and observability [4]–[6].
