I. Introduction
At present, wideband video signal is used more and more widely in airborne environment, and it has the characteristics of increasing bandwidth and higher signal quality requirements. Optical fiber transmission has outstanding advantages in signal transmission because of its high bandwidth, large capacity, long distance, low transmission loss and excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference [1]. There are some researches on the optical fiber transmission of video signal, but most of them focus on the field of security and monitoring. The bandwidth of this kind of video signal is small, the ability of image restoration is low, and the technical difficulty is sma11 [2]. For the display signals in the airborne environment, especially the most widely used signal formats when transmitting high bandwidth images, analog VGA signals and digital DVI signals, there are few visible reports on the design of optical fiber transmitters. This study focus on the design and implementation of broadband video signal optical transmitter used in airborne environment.
