I. Introduction
The structural reliability analysis is one of the most important technologies for modern mechanical product design. Generally, the reliability analysis is performed by considering the existed uncertainties during product design. There are mainly two types of uncertainty involved in practical engineering, namely random uncertainty and epistemic uncertainty [1]. For many engineering design problems, these two types of uncertainty usually exist simultaneously. In the design problems, the random uncertainty is modeled as random variable, while the epistemic uncertainty is modeled as interval variable in general [2].
