Xiaojiang Du (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
He is a Tenured Professor with the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, USA. He has authored over 400 journal and conference papers in these areas, as well as a book published by Springer. His research interests are wireless communications, wireless networks, security, and systems.
Dr. Du has been awarded more than $5 million U.S. dollars research grants from the U.S. National Science Foundation, Army Research Office, Air Force, NASA, the State of Pennsylvania, and Amazon. He won the Best Paper Award at IEEE GLOBECOM in 2014 and the Best Poster Runner-Up Award at the ACM MobiHoc in 2014. He serves on the editorial boards of three international journals. He is a Life Member of ACM.
