Abstract:

In this paper an optimal control strategy for switched nonlinear systems is addressed. A metaheuristic hybrid approach based on the Cuckoo Search algorithm is suggested for this issue. The main objective of the suggested approach consists to minimize a performance criterion which depends on the optimal switching instants to be found, over a finite time horizon. Lastly, a hydraulic two-tank system will be given to show the performance and the effectiveness of the suggest method.
