Abstract:

The external representation of the technical diagnostics object is analyzed and modeled in the frame notation, which is an integral part of the list of necessary knowledge for the development of a diagnostic expert system. It is proposed to characterize the external representation by two interrelated frames - control of the technical state of the diagnostics object and monitoring of its technical state. This paper reveals the possible content of these frames.

I. Introduction

In the most general case, diagnostic activity implies the presence of activity object - the object of diagnosis, the subject (subject of diagnostic activity) and their external environment. The presence, condition and features of these elements will be characterized by the definition of "diagnostic situation" [1]. Description of possible diagnostic situations is the starting point of the process of developing a conceptual model for the further engineering of the data base and knowledge base of diagnostic expert systems.
