I. Introduction
Multiphase machines have interesting advantages over traditional three-phase machines, such as higher fault tolerance, reduced power ratings per phase, and lower torque ripple [1]. Multiphase machines with multiple sets of three-phase windings are an interesting solution for industrial applications since they maintain compatibility with standard three-phase power converters [2], [3]. Among these, the six-phase machine is the most studied topology due to its simpler structure [4].
