Yong Xiang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Melbourne, VIC, Australia, in 2003.
He is a Professor with the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Geelong, VIC. His research interests include information security and privacy, signal and image processing, data analytics and machine intelligence, Internet of Things, and blockchain. He has published five monographs, over 125 refereed journal articles, and numerous conference papers in the above areas.
Prof. Xiang is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Signal Processing Letters and IEEE Access. He has served as the honorary chair, the program chair, the TPC chair, the symposium chair, and the track chair for a number of international conferences.
