I. Introduction
With the popularity of mobile devices, such as smart phones, tablets, and wearable devices, a mass of novel mobile applications are emerging. Among them, an increasing number of applications are resource-intensive and delay-sensitive, for instance, face recognition [1] and augmented reality applications [2]. However, the growing capacity of mobile devices is still lagging behind the needs of people due to physical limitations, such as CPU, battery life, and so on [3]. Therefore, it is a very challenging task to execute resource-intensive and delay-sensitive tasks on mobile devices.
