I. Introduction
In order to prepare professionally competent and mobile personnel for the digital economy, we propose to use an innovative online learning platform implemented by massive open online courses (MOOC). Often, the transition from the educational environment to professional continuity in the necessary knowledge, skills and methods of activity is lost [1]–[3]. This trend is particularly acute in the employment of graduates of technical training and specialties. In our opinion, the solution of this problem is facilitated by the use of the rich potential of 3D modeling for educational purposes. The prototype of the module of visualization of three-dimensional objects of virtual reality developed by us, integrated in a cloud MOOC platform (Fig. 1), allows to model qualitatively conditions of future professional activity invariant concerning a subject area. For example, when implementing blended learning on the basis of MOOC, students of the specialty “Applied Geology” can use the modeled 3D objects of an oil refinery in the performance of laboratory works or courses projects.
