I. Introduction
Many Rapid vehicular growth in urban areas of our country has put immense focus on transforming the traditional transportation system to Intelligent Transportation System. ITS is an advanced application aims to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management and enable various users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and 'smarter' use of transport networks. Although ITS refer to all modes of transport, the directive of the European Union 2010/40/EU defined ITS as systems in which information and communication technologies are applied in the field of road transport [17]. In simple, ITS aims to minimize and find solutions to traffic related issues. It also provide solutions to achieve traffic efficiency, to reduce the delays in traffic, enable vehicles to communicate, smart parking, dynamic traffic signal management, variable speed limits, road and highways surveillance, mobile surveillance, energy conservation, providing collision avoidance system and enhancing comfort and safety of the users, with the help of sensor, information and communication technologies [1].
