In recent years, “big data” has been in focus in various contexts. For example, “big data” in the context of “the way the government uses social big data” refers to all the data generated by human interactions on various social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. Appearance and presence in social media allows gathering of human daily communication, thought, and discourse in high volumes. Moreover, the reason why “big data” has become popular is that we can gain new insights through the analysis of such big data. The significant feature is that each tweet or click has no meaning by itself, but the analysis of “big data,” in other words, a set of such data, generates meaningful results.
