I. Introduction
Landscape pattern refers to the array of different shapes and sizes of patches in the landscape space, and the analysis of the landscape pattern actually studies the structural changes and space succession of the landscape with the passage of time, which is of great importance for the protection of bio-diversity and improvement of environmental quality (Liu Jianguo, 1995). The landscape pattern index can reflect the overall condition of the landscape, and it is also the quantitative index covering various aspects of information, for instance, the element, the overall structure and spatial distribution condition, etc. With the constant development of the landscape ecology, RS (remote sensing) and GIS (geographic information system) play a significant role in analyzing the changes in landscape pattern and discussion of the spatial evolution rules, and the landscape pattern analysis has already become an important in the study on changes in the pattern of ecological system, which has already attracted extensive attention from numerous scholars.
