Abstract:
Self-adjusting optical filters, which passively track the wavelength of the optical signal, have been demonstrated using two-beam interference in single-mode erbium-doped fiber. Pump-probe measurements of the filter response are reported for a range of doped fiber lengths and optical input powers.
