I. Introduction
RECENT times have witnessed an explosive growth of applications in wireless networks, such as consumer wireless devices. The demand for high data rates is pushing the existing networks to their limits. How to achieve higher data rates is quite challenging and of interest to both communications engineers and information theory. To capture the capacity limit of wireless networks, we are primarily interested in the degrees of freedom (DoF) characterization, i.e. the number of independent signaling dimensions of communication networks.
