I. Introduction
State estimation is one of the fundamental energy management system (EMS) application functions which provides an optimal estimate for the state of the system, and permits the high reliability for the operating system [1]. Traditional state estimation used SCADA system to measure the power flows, power injections and voltage magnitudes and current magnitudes and then processes these measurements to obtain the state of the system (computes the voltage magnitudes and angles at the buses) [1]–[3].
