I. Introduction
In the last decades, the scaling down of the MOS transistors has improved the integration capability of digital circuits. However, such scaling seems to be reaching its physical limits [1]. On the other hand, there are several good candidates to replace the CMOS integrated circuits (ICs) and, perhaps, the semiconductor based technology [2]. Many studies have been carried out over the computation using cellular automata architecture and quantum confinement for that purpose [3].
