I. Introduction
The electric power system is experiencing a rapid transformation to an intelligent electric network, the so-called smart gird. Microgrids, as the building blocks of smart grids, are small-scale power systems that facilitate the effective integration of distributed generators (DGs) [1]–[3]. Proper control of microgrids is a prerequisite for stable and economically efficient operations of smart grids [5], [6]. Microgrids can operate in both grid-connected and islanded operating modes.
