Abstract:

The nonlinear dynamic mathematical model was proposed based on the hydrodynamic force analysis of ring gate by CFD simulation in order to satisfy the need for multi-cylinder displacement and velocity control. According to ring gate motion style, QFT synchronous control mode was made into use in the ring gate opening and closing process. It shows that the controller with use of QFT acquires the requirement of trace ability, robust stability and input disturbance restraint ability, which keeps from unfavorable influence of non-linear and uncertain factors in the opening and closing process of ring gate located in hydropower plant.

I. INTRODUCTION

In the process of hydraulic turbine operation, the problem of erosion caused by the sandy flow is very serious. The problem that the unit of turbine can not be normally opened or closed often occurs in some hydropower plants due to the wicket gates erosion. Furthermore, the turbine of hydro-generator unit is in high speed even to runaway state when water flow is not shut down due to distributor failure, which exerts bad influence on the performance of hydro-generator unit. The key to solve these problems is that the efficiency intake valve must be installed at the turbine inlet [1].
